Why
should I advertise with The ISP Guide?
Most
ISP's will agree targeting marketing is the most cost effective
way to acquire customers. What better way to find a customer
then to advertise on a site where customers are actively looking
for another ISP? The ISP Guide will generate some of the highest
ROI's on the marketing dollar for your ISP.

I
am ready to advertise with The ISP Guide. How do I start?
First register your ISP with the ISP Guide;
and then login to your account. With in the login section you will
find a link called 'Start Advertising'. Click on 'Start
Advertising' to begin your advertising campaign with The ISP Guide.

What are my payment options?
You can pay by Pay Pal, Qchex or Snail Mail. We strongly recommend
Pay Pal or Qchex since it immediate versus snail mail which requires
the company to wait for the check to arrive in the mail.

Why
do I have to pay in advance to advertise?
It allows us
to manage our cash flow more effectively, and since we do not have
to worry about collections it is much more efficient from a company
resources standpoint. Those savings are passed on to the ISP's
by offering some of the lowest advertising rates for an ISP Directory
in the market.
Can
I buy more then one advertising option with in the month?
Yes, you can buy multiple advertising options. For example
if your ISP would like to buy a banner ad and text link advertising
with in the same month then you can.
Will
you ever increase your price?
Based on the simple principal of economics there is very good
chance our pricing can increase. It's based on supply and
demand, but at the same time the company has made a strong commitment
to creating advertising opportunities and exposure for the smaller
ISP's.
What
about the smaller ISP's that do not have the advertising budget?
The company will release a cost per click model in December and
many other unique options for the smaller ISP's in the coming months.
For example, the company is currently working on an enhanced listing
options which will cost anywhere from $15.00 - $35.00 per month
which will allow smaller budget ISP's to standout out over
the crowd of ISP's in the free listing.
Will
the paid listing generate leads for me?
Nothing is guaranteed in this world. The only guarantee
is that there is no guarantee. With that in mind try us out
for a month and see for your self. The ISP Guide does not
require any extended contracts. Try us out and if you like
the results then continue and if you don't then stop at the end
of the month. No questions asked!
How
do you determine who gets the top spot for the banner and text link
advertisements?
In the initial month or two after the
launch the banner and text link advertisements positions will be
given to ISP's that sign up first or possibly rotating the banners
positions every week. In the future the top spot could be
determined based on a scale which will display the ISP banner or
text link based on price paid & review by consumers on the ISP.
Why
are consumers not signing up to my ISP?
The consumer will choose an ISP based
on: Name Recognition, Price, Setup Fee, Quality of Website, and
ISP. If you present the information clearly and offer a competitive
price then there is a very good chance consumers will sign up.
I
seem to get few leads from the free listing?
Based on marketing principles it is safe
to assume that the free listing will generate limited branding,
exposure, and leads to your ISP. The ISP Guide will have thousands
of ISP's listed with in the next few months. So the chances
are that most consumers will concentrate on the ISP's that have
paid advertising.
Where
do you host your servers?
We host with a local company in the Houston area. We are
a separate company and pay them for the services rendered.
Why
are you hosting there and not some other place?
First, we are hosting with them because they are local and easily
accessible. Secondly, they have agreed to buy advertising space
with us at the prices listed on the website. We are a new
company so generating revenue in the beginning is important to our
survival.
What
if I have a problem with where you host?
If you have problems with it then do not
advertise with us it's that simple. The ISP Guide has made
it very clear our position and if you still have a problem with
advertising then spend your advertising dollar somewhere else.
The focus of The ISP Guide is on making it as easy as possible for
consumers to find the best ISP and generating some of the best ROI's
for ISP's on the marketing dollar, and that's what we intend to
do.
Why
don't you list a phone number?
The company wants to offer the lowest
price possible to ISP's and in order to do that, the company must
make things as efficient and cost effective as possible. The
ISP Guide offers some of the lowest advertising rates in the market.
While other guides charge well over several thousand dollars to
even start advertising, The ISP Guide will allow even some of the
smaller ISP to get started for as little as $15 - $25 per month.
Besides
everything that you need to know is on the website, and it's really
not very complicated. You buy advertising on The ISP Guide and you
generate traffic and leads to you website. That's it!
