ADVERTISING GUIDELINES

All advertisements must be approved by us before being placed on our network of sites. We reserve the right to reject any insertion order, graphic, text description or URL. Below are guidelines regarding advertising material.

  • Ads should not appear to be part of our websites' content rather than an advertisement.

  • Ads should be encased in a border. If borderless, an ad must contain the advertiser's name to signify that it is an ad banner, not content. (Blending is not allowed.)

  • Ads may never use any portion of our websites' brand names to imply affiliation with or an endorsement by The ISP Guide Network unless such a relationship exists.

  • Ads may not use our branding - logos or proprietary images from The ISP Guide Network - within an ad banner.

  • Advertisements cannot solicit or collect, or appear to solicit or collect, any personally identifiable information from users.

  • Advertisements cannot mimic news headlines in design, tone, 3rd person sentence structure, or topic.

  • After clicking on any ad unit, users must be able to return to our network website by clicking on the browser's "Back" button. Any destination URLs that result in the "trap door" effect (e.g., the user can not return to our website by clicking the browser's "Back" button), are not permitted.

  • Preferable ad formats are gif and jpeg. Animated banners are accepted.

  • Advertising requiring the use of plug-ins like Flash and Shockwave must utilize "sniffer" code to detect if the user has the required plug-in and display an alternate image if the user does not have it.
